The town of Helper, UT is nestled into a valley with the Price River cutting through the bottom. As the sun sets in the evening and ticks behind the hills and mountains to the west a stark line separates the bright light and shadow of the evening. This color study in yellow represents the fading light as seen from my home.
Handspun and naturally dyed heritage breed wool handwoven on cotton warp. Wool dyed with safflower, wild sunflower, coreopsis, marigold, and calendula.
